Denise
I grew up in Lancaster County and upon graduating from McCaskey High School, I continued my education at the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. I received my certificate in dental assisting and worked in a general dental practice for 5 years.
Although I loved my position as dental assistant, I felt the desire to continue my education. I began taking classes at Harrisburg Area Community College to become a dental hygienist. I knew it would take a lot of deterimination and deciation to achieve this goal, but with the support of my friends and family, I graduated in 2005. I love my career as a dental hygienist and I thrive to learn new techniques to better serve my patients.
During hygiene school, I got married, and my husband and I now have a 2 year old son. My family and I live in Elizabethtown. In my free time, I enjoy gardening and spending quality time with my family.
