Sandy
Sandy is a graduate of Lebanon High School. After graduation, she enrolled at Empire Beauty School in 1980, and received her license in 1982. Once working in the cosmetology setting for a while, she realized this was not what she wanted to do for the rest of her life, and in 1994 went back to school for dental assisting at the Lebanon Vo-Tech.
Sandy graduated from the dental assisting school in 1997, and went to work in an orthodontic office, quickly becoming a supervisor in 1998, and continued working there until 2001. After moving to the Lititz area, she decided to try her hands in general dentistry, where she continued until 2004.
Sandy was hired by an oral surgeon's office, and decided to take classes at HACC for phlebotomy – to be more involved in the surgery and assist the doctor to the best of her ability.
Although being very skilled in orthodontics and in oral surgery, general dentistry is what she truly enjoyed. In 2006, she joined Dr. Parker and now plans on going back to school to receive and EFTA certificate.
